Summer Reading Program – Let’s talk about treasure buried at the dump!

Did you know that there is really no ‘away’ for some many things we throw in the trash?
We will explore the treasure buried in our trash- whether it’s items you can repurpose for art or the food scraps you can turn into ‘black gold’ by composting. Join local artist, Amber Paris and WSWMD outreach coordinator, Alex Lacy to explore how we can make better use of the things we might otherwise bury in the trash. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative art piece that will be installed at our transfer station in the Fall!
