The Use of Labyrinths for Peace of Mind, Body & Spirit
On Thursday, March 30th at 7pm, Sadelle Wiltshire will lead a program on the use of labyrinths at the Putney Public Library. Labyrinths can be used as a quieting, healing form of walking meditation or a place for respite and reflection. After a short film and talk she will have a labyrinth available to walk together as community. Bring a concern, intention or joy to release into the labyrinth.
Sadelle is a Certified Labyrinth Facilitator through Veriditas, a non-profit organization that introduces the labyrinth as a tool for transformation of the mind, body and spirit. She offers labyrinth walks and programs in the tri-state area for healing, peace work and reflection and leads monthly labyrinth walks in Putney at Putney Friends Meeting and in Bellows Falls at Immanuael Retreat Center. Sadelle is a New England representative of The Labyrinth Society. She will provide a small canvas labyrinth to walk on site and will have a couple of “finger labyrinths” available for those who don’t wish to walk. A short reflection time for journaling or talking will close the program.
Putney Library is located at 55 Main Street in Putney, VT. This program is free and open to the public.
