In this illustrated book talk, Katie Fricas will share images from her five-year process of hand-drawing and writing this graphic novel.
Katie Fricas is a cartoonist and editor in New York City. Her comics have been in The New Yorker, The Guardian, the LA Review of Books, and lots of other shiny places. Her first book, Checked Out, was published by Drawn & Quarterly in 2025.
