DESCRIPTION:Would you like to get outside and walk in the company of others? The Putney Amblers is a casual walking group sponsored by Putney Public Library. Moseying with others is a great way to get out and be a part of a community group.\nThe Putney Amblers meet for walks at 3:00 pm on Wednesdays\, changing spots and routes each week. DESCRIPTION:Join beaver expert\, Patti Smith from Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center\, for a fun exploration of beaver ecology and river science focusing on the relationship between beavers\, watershed health\, and flood resilience. \nLearn about the benefits of beavers and how we can live with them harmoniously. Elsa\, a giant Ice Age beaver will be on hand as will some other hands-on activities.  \nThis program is open to all ages\, but will be geared towards 5-10 year olds and their caregivers.  \nAll youth attendees will receive a copy of What Goes On Inside a Beaver Pond by Becky Cushing Gop.
