SUMMARY:Perri Lynch Howard  SVALBARD SPEAKS: An Artist's Dialogue with Climate Change
DESCRIPTION:Perri Lynch Howard is an artist forging new narratives\nfrom the front lines of climate change. Her recent\nartworks investigate the impact of marine noise pollution\non whales and other mammals in the Arctic Circle. She\nwill share images and sound from her expedition above\nthe 78th parallel – sailing the coast of Svalbard on a\nbarquentine tall ship\, with an international group of\nartists\, scientists\, and journalists through The Arctic\nCircle Residency Program.\nPerri will share images and sound works inspired by the\njourney\, and illustrate how we can harness the power of\nart to inspire new narratives in a changing climate.
