Longings—a Writer In Residence Workshop at Putney Library
At the Putney Library, this is the year of exploring our Literary Longings—what texts we want to read, write, understand, confront and try on for size—with Writer in Residence Michelle Blake and others.
We are kicking off the year with a workshop led by Lyedie Geer, a master coach and facilitator whose practice is dedicated to helping women fulfill their personal, professional and creative longings. In this 1.5 hour workshop you will have the opportunity to unpack any longings you may be quietly incubating through a structured writing process. Lyedie defines longings as deeply felt, full-bodied conversations that are always going on between self and the world, self and others, self and spirit. Your longings, she suggests, are a yearning toward wholeness.
This workshop is designed to help us all move beyond mere goal setting, as we steer into the territory of what is deeply meaningful to each of us, and then set our bow points on fulfillment.
Join us on Sunday, March 25th, at 2 p.m. at the Putney Library, to begin to explore your own longings and turn them into action and art.
Putney Library is located at 55 Main St. Putney, VT. The event is free and open to the public.
